Biography

I grew up in Namibia and went to high school in South Africa, where I started playing tennis. After high school, I received a scholarship to play tennis for Lewis-Clark State College in Idaho. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology with an Emphasis in Exercise Science and Health Occupations. 


After completing my undergrad, I moved to Grand Rapids, MI, where I  received my Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management. 


I started teaching under the supervision and guidance of coach Kai Fong from Lewis-Clark and still implement the life skills he taught me through tennis in my daily life. This is one of the reasons I created Roth Tennis Development. (Thank you, Kai.) 


I am married to my husband of four years, Nick, and love spending time with my family. We have two children and, an English Mastiff and a Siberian Husky. I love the outdoors. In my free time, I like to fish, do crafts, and build Legos with my kids. 

Why Roth Tennis Development?

Courage, consistency, and determination are the three life skills tennis has taught me over many years of playing and teaching. I developed a passion for self-improvement within this sport.  


Did I fulfill my potential through tennis? Yes, but not in the typical way that professional athletes view success. Tennis prepared me for a bigger purpose of becoming a wife and mother, serving those around me, and helping those around me reach their full potential. So Roth Tennis Development was born.  


With that said, I give all glory to God and honor Him in my life.
